A majority of people believe that skin cancer can be treated 100 % but the fact is that every type of cancer has its own risk unless treated or otherwise. Thus never underestimate a disease because even a small cold can leave your life in danger because of any deadly bacteria activation. We know there are three different types of skin cancer and of which the most deadly one is Melanoma. There are fewer chances of death due to Squamous Cell Carcinoma and Basal Cell Carcinoma.
Can you imagine that ultraviolet rays from the sun can cause cancer?
Yes, it’s true. Overexposure to the sun is the major cause of skin cancer. One must detect perfectly and consult your dermatologist for an accurate diagnosis. Also, never think that because you are darker, skin cancer won’t affect you. Skin cancer can affect people of any skin color or tone. In some, the disease is diagnosed much later which makes it impossible for recovery. The most dreadful part is that since your skin is affected, you may find it very difficult to face society. Also, you may feel real discomfort as skin lesions appear even in your private parts of the body. If you are diagnosed with Melanoma and is detected too late the chance of death is higher. Also, men in the age range of 15-29 are more likely to die compared to women. In the next session, we can discuss prevention methods of skin cancer.
